Saturday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. at MHS Gaines Field. There will be no guest limit per graduate, and tickets for this year's ceremony will not be required to attend.

We will offer outdoor seating available with handicap accessibility. If you require accessibility accommodations or accessible parking, please contact Meghan Emmett at meghanemmett@mcusd2.com or call 217-238-7800 by Thursday, May 15th. In your email, kindly provide details including your name, whether you use a wheelchair or walker, and if you would appreciate assistance accessing the seating area.

Following graduation, students will exit the field and meet families behind the bleachers in Memorial Square. There will be a backdrop for photo opportunities under the pavilion. Students will pick up their diplomas in the concession stand.

Additionally, the MHS Floral Class will be selling flower arrangements in the Popcorn Shed before the ceremony begins for you to purchase for your senior. These will be $20/bundle, cash only.

Important Reminders:

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Seating is first come, first serve. There is no assigned seating or reserving seating for the general public.
ONLY graduates will be allowed on the field.
- Please ensure your graduate does not wear pointed heels. This is a safety precaution as heels sink in the turf, and can cause your senior to trip. Wedges are permitted.

Be sure to review the maps below, as they will help you find important details such as parking, entry paths, graduation paths, and restrooms. As indicated on the map, the stage will be placed west of the “M” on the football field. Graduates will be west of the stage on the football field, facing east. ONLY graduates will be allowed on the field. There will be limited general seating as well as designated handicap seating available on the track.
