In October, Kindergarten students listened to the story "I Need My Monster" by Amanda Noll. After listening to the story, Riddle Elementary kindergarten students designed their own monster! Then, their designs were sent to Jennie's Wearables, owner Jennifer Mayhew then used sublimation to transfer their designs to fabrics and sewed the small pillows for each student! The reveal day for the pillows was held on February 10, 2023! Every student was able to enjoy their designs and take their pillow home, so they could have their very own monster!
April Drake and Riddle Elementary School would also like to thank Jennifer for the donation of a heat press for the STEAM program. This donation will allow students to explore more projects using electronic cutting!
