On Friday, Oct. 13, LIFT welcomed Author and Autism Spokesperson Dr. Temple Grandin! Dr. Grandin discussed her new book, "Visual Thinking" with LIFT and Mattoon High School students. She also shared an inspirational message on the value of seeing the world differently.
Students and staff were able to meet Dr. Grandin afterwards for photographs. We appreciate her visit and the Mattoon Arts Council for helping organize the event.
