Mattoon Rotary recognizes one Senior male and female at their monthly luncheon as Students of the Month.
Students are nominated by MHS staff and the selection criteria includes outstanding academic achievement and citizenship. Rotary Student of the Month for May winners are Trinity Crowe and Nathan Stamps.
Trinity is the daughter of Aisha Khan-Crowe. At MHS she is involved in NHS, B.I.O.N.I.C, Art Club, FFA, ROTC, Drama, Student Council, Scholastic Bowl, GreenWave Singers, Massive, and Spectrum. Trinity has enlisted in the Army Reserves as a Behavioral Specialist.
Nathan is the son of Ian and Jodie Sanders. At MHS he is involved in Massive, and attends classes at our LIFT facility. After graduation, Nathan will be working full time at Evapco as a welder.
