Mattoon Rotary recognizes one senior male and female at their monthly luncheon as Students of the Month.
Students are nominated by MHS staff and the selection criteria include outstanding academic achievement and citizenship. Rotary Students of the Month for February winners were Logan Samuelson and Alexandra Walsh!
Logan is the son of Greg and Susan Samuelson. He is a member of the BIONIC Transfer and Freshman mentoring teams as well as NHS. In the fall, Logan will be attending the University of Missouri to major in Business Administration.
Alexandra Walsh is the daughter of Brooke Hahn. She is the President of Student Council, Class of 2025 President, NHS, Bionic, Health Occupations, and the MHS Volleyball team. Ally has over 300 hours of Community Service. She will attend Mizzou and major in biology then go on the Pathology track for Graduate school.
MHS is incredibly proud of these students' achievements and contributions. Congratulations, Logan and Ally!
