MHS Future's Day will be held on March 1st from 9:15-11:45 a.m. Students can register here.
There will be nearly 80 different options for students to explore during the day including college, trade, and career paths. Some highlights:
- Nearly 10 different medical pathways
- Helicopter on the practice football field for those interested in becoming a First Responder
- Nearly 10 different trades, including plumbing, HVAC, excavating, roofing, linemen, septic, and agriculture
- Forensic and law enforcement including local detectives and forensic scientists for the Illinois State Police
- Media and broadcasting, including an entire team from WAND-TV
- Career Fair that provides students 16+ to network with local businesses for prospective job opportunities
- Sessions tailored to immediate entry into the workforce post-high school (resume building, headshots, interview skills, mock interviews with feedback) with regional recruitment manager
