Students in the 8th grade Applied Arts class have been working hard to create the stage sets for the upcoming Wizard of Oz, Jr. play, which will be performed by the 8th grade Drama class on Friday, May 14. Over the course of several weeks, the students transformed seven extra-large Viewsonic boxes into canvases for various scenes in the play. With some help from students in other classes, they were able to construct a corn field, a forest, Munchkinland, and Oz. They did a fantastic job, and we can’t wait to see their sets in the play!
