*IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR OUR MCUSD2 FAMILIES*

The following information is accurate:
3/7: School resumes as normal for WES,RES, MMS, MHS, LIFT
3/7: No Franklin Preschool
3/8: 2.5 Hour Early-Dismissal for WES, RES, MMS, MHS, LIFT
3/8: No Franklin Preschool
We apologize for the miscommunication.
Congrats to these Riddle art students who currently have art on display at the Eastern Illinois University Tarble Art museum through March 15th! π
The art museum had a reception on February 9th to celebrate all the students who were entered. The school received a $200 check to put toward the school art program. The reception was well attended and full of great support for the arts. π¨

Riddle Elementary Art students Jansen M. and Maddox L. took an origami concept to the next level by creating an American Flag. The students first learned how to fold paper into individual pieces that would form a paper box. On one of the cold inside recess days, they gathered some paper and successfully achieved their goal of creating an origami flag. We are so proud of their work! πΊπΈ
