MMS Baseball tryouts for today (Monday, August 1st) have been pushed back 1 hour due to the rain.
6th grade is now 9:00-10:30am; 7th/8th grade is now 10:45-12:15pm

The Birth to 3 Program recently held a Gross Motor Blowout family night! They had water play, a ball pit, Little Tikes playground cars, a jello sensory table, and watermelon art.

Due to construction, we will be cutting the power at Mattoon High School Monday (8/1), Tuesday (8/2), Thursday (8/4), and Friday (8/5) from 7am until noon each day.
*Wednesday (8/3) power will be left on all day.*

Once again, due to weather, the pouring of the Sports Parking Lot at the high school has been pushed back to Thursday & Friday (7/28 & 7/29), instead of Tuesday & Wednesday.
Due to this, the following streets will be blocked off & shut down on those days: 25th street into the school,
26th street into school,
Walnut in front of school,
Circle drive in front of school,
and the entire senior parking lot.

Katrina Farris (Director of Early Childhood) and Tonya Reynolds (Birth-3 Home Visitor) recently completed a two-day training in Safe Travel for all children: Transporting children with special healthcare needs. Both are National Child Passenger Safety Technicians.
