Michelle Skinlo, left, president, Mattoon school board, and Ashli Overton, right, school board member, were recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards as maintaining their status as Master Board Members. Master Board Member Points are earned by attending IASB division meetings, governing meetings, legislative leadership programs as well as holding positions of leadership within the association, according to the IASB. Their certificates were presented at the Oct. 12, 2021 school board meeting.
