Welcome to Mattoon Schools! We're excited you are here. If your child has never attended any of the Mattoon Schools, please call the school your child will be attending to complete New Student Registration.
Families wishing to enroll a new student at Franklin Preschool, must contact Mindy Beals (Franklin Secretary) to schedule a free screening, which is done on the first Wednesday of every month. After the screening is complete, students will be put on a waitlist until a spot becomes available.
Early registration brings peace of mind and the chance to win school swag!
The earlier you register, the more chances you have to win. Register in March and you’ll be eligible for all three drawings!
Three winners will be randomly selected each month on the following days:
March 28, 2025
April 25, 2025
May 30, 2025
Families will receive one entry for each student registered. Only one winner is permitted per household. Please ensure your contact information is current during registration, as we will use the information on file in Skyward to notify the winner.
