The Skyward annual updates are completed and you can once again access the platform to register your student for the 2023-2024 school year at mcusd2.org/register In addition, the new and improved Skyward Mobile App will be released the week of 7/24/23. Mobile users will only need to update their Skyward App when prompted. Today we say goodbye to our Middle School Principal, Mr. Pugh, as it was his last official day working for our district. While it’s tough to see him leave, we are proud to see him move on, as he will become the Superintendent at another area school. Help us wish him the best of luck in his new role! The Birth-3 Program recently received a shipment of 40 car seats through an IDOT grant for National Car Seat Safety Technicians (Katrina Farris & Tonya Reynolds) to provide to families in need. The Birth to 3 Program has two upcoming Safety Car Seat Check events coming up in August and September. More information regarding these dates will be shared soon.

Families from the Birth-3 Program and Little Leaders Daycare recently attended a field trip to the Scovill Zoo in Decatur. Families enjoyed carousel and train rides. Aramark provided lunches for the families and the Apostolic Center provided 2 buses for families to ride in. We would like to thank them for supporting our families!
