Mrs. Kimery’s kindergarten classroom at Riddle features the “discovery shelf.” This past week, students were able to discover and compare pumpkins size/weight of being heavy or light at one of the stations. In addition, each student received a pumpkin to take home! Pumpkins were donated from Mr. and Mrs. Black who work within the district!

Williams Elementary School's Scholastic Book Fair is still going on today and Monday (10/14 & 10/17) in the library until 3:30 each afternoon.

Riddle Elementary 4th and 5th-grade students are invited to participate in the Illinois Readers Choice Program, the Bluestem Award. There are twenty nominated books, and in March students are able to vote for the book they believe should win the award. For each Bluestem book read, students answer questions about the book and are entered into a monthly drawing for free books.

The MHS colorguard/winterguard is raising money to get new equipment.
Ballinger Hill Designs donated a three person glider (a value of $300) to Raffle off. Tickets will be sold for $5 each and they are only selling 500!
The drawing will take place at half-time during the October 21,2022 football game. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket you can buy one at the next two football games or you can email courtneystjohn@mcusd2.com
