Each year, the Mattoon CUSD #2 School District and the Department of Early Childhood offer parents the opportunity to discover how their child is developing in the areas of speech, language, concepts, and motor skills. This is done through Preschool Round Up - free developmental screenings for 2 to 5-year-olds. Due to the inclement weather producing slick road conditions, the decision has been made to cancel all extra curricular games, events, and practices for Monday, January 22, 2024. Thank you for your ongoing support and please be safe.

Due to inclement weather producing slick road conditions, Mattoon CUSD #2 Schools will be closed Monday, January 22, 2024. This includes all sessions at LIFT Central Illinois. There will be no e-Learning. A decision will be made by noon determining whether practices and other extracurricular events will be postponed. Coaches will notify the students. As a result of this emergency day, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 will now be a student attendance day.

All practices, games, and other extracurricular events for this evening (Tuesday, January 16, 2024) will proceed as scheduled.
