The Mattoon Middle School Scholastic Bowl team competed in the Crestwood Classic Scholastic Bowl Tournament on Thursday, March 14th. The team earned a 3-1 record at the event, with victories over Shiloh, Chrisman, and Charleston to capture 3rd place. The Mattoon Girls Softball Association Babe Ruth Clinics are coming up. Email mattoongirlssoftball1@gmail.com for a registration form. Forms must be submitted by April 11. The draft for players will be held in the evening of the clinic. Games are scheduled to start May 13.
